Embrace literature, language, and writing
The Department of 英语 at the University of Nebraska Kearney confers a Master of 艺术 degree through its on-campus and online graduate programs.
The Master of 艺术 in 英语 program focuses on the study of literature; composition, 修辞, and language; 童年 and 青年 studies; and creative writing. 研讨会, 车间, and directed reading course offerings provide an engaging and interactive learning opportunity for students. The program is designed for active, in-service teachers seeking further professional or personal development, as well as those seeking preparation for a Ph.D. in 英语 or an MFA program.
Although this program does not grant certification to teach 英语 in K-12 schools, many students utilize their skills to improve their instructional strategies in existing teaching career paths.

Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 hours of 英语
